Evaluation And Outcomes Of Inquiry Based Learning Essay

To better understand mixed methods design and its role in my field, I chose to review â€Å"Implementation and Outcomes of Inquiry-based Learning in Mathematics Content Courses for Pre-service Teachers† by Laursen, Hassi, and Hough (2016). The following discussion provides the selection criteria, and an article summary, and evaluates the article based upon the 11 review criteria used in the Journal of Mixed Methods Research’s review process. The selection of this article relied on specific criteria, particularly its use of a mixed method design and its relevance as a recent work within my field, mathematics education. In the abstract, the authors clearly identified their work as a mixed-methods study, and indications of mixed methods designs could be found in the discussion of study methods, assessment instruments, results and conclusions. The field of psychology has grown tremendously over the years. Originally the field began with the Greek asking questions about how we know anything and how we can be sure that we know (Wertheimer, 2012, p.21). The philosophy’s that were created over time lead to the beginning of experimental psychology in 19th century Europe (Wertheimer, 2012, p.65). This was a time of little diversity as those who studied psychology tended to be white European men. Timely With timely practices and making the involvement of the employees in major decision the objective is timely enough to be taken into consideration. Conclusion: A detailed analysis of the Human Resources management practices carried on at the Al Ain Municipality has been done. A detailed analysis of the HRM practices has been carried on. It has been found that the Human Resource body of the government institution is responsible for taking care of the small region. The employees working for this institution do not get adequate training and there is a lack of good corporate culture as well. Therefore it falls under the responsibility of the HRM to come up with better plans to improve the organizational practices and contribute towards improving the working of the employees. The proposed recommendations might be of great help for the Municipality to improve their activities.
